All Texas Sentinels Foundation Scholarship recipients have the skills, experience and attitude that employers look for in filling available positions and must successfully complete all interview processes. Hundreds of severely injured service members are now rehabilitating
in military hospitals across the United States after enduring
amputations, severe burns, blindness, deafness or paraplegia.
Many of them have the attitude and aptitude required of a Sentinels
of Freedom Scholarship recipient - and they’re waiting for a chance
to build the future of their dreams.
Dozens of volunteers across the country and several corporations
have become a part of the Sentinels program. They have formed teams
to help our Sentinels find housing, transportation and employment.
They ensure that the Sentinel comes home to immediate independence.
