Texas Sentinels Foundation Mission
RE/MAX of Texas has taken a Leadership Role in the development of a Scholarship Program designed to support our severely wounded and injured members of the Armed Forces returning to Texas. Never before in the history of this nation has a comprehensive scholarship of this kind been offered to the members of our Armed Forces who return to us severely wounded or injured. Click here to view a map of the growing need for this program in the United States.
As we move forward , setting up and facilitating these Sentinels of Freedom Scholarships in Texas we will measure success by the numbers of placements and graduations of deserving young men and women who we have accepted into this scholarship program. We at RE/MAX of Texas and local citizen volunteers have embraced and accepted opportunity as a way of saying “We want to help" "We can do this” “It is the right thing to do” and “We have room at the Table in our Texas Communities”.
One community at a time, one Wounded Warrior at a time we can make a difference.
This is a beginning, We will hold the flag rights in being able to say “ We were the first. We were the leaders who made this vital program a reality and available to many of those who otherwise may have had little chance to realize the American Dream they have so justly earned.

Whatever your beliefs regarding our military presence in the World, supporting our troops is a cause that can unify us. We are not a politically motivated organization, instead we are a helping-hands group with a deep appreciation for the sacrifices our men and women in the military make, and a profound respect for their drive to rehabilitate after severe injury and make a place for themselves and their families in a civilian world.
